Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Monster mouth makeup

So it was recently announced that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu would be holding a concert in my city Sydney for her 2014 Nanda Collection World Tour. When I heard this I got really excited and looked up ticket sales. The pre-sale tickets went out today but I just can't get on the site due to traffic ;A;  I'm going to wait for public ticket sales and hopefully I'll be able to see her live!

In the spirit of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu  I decided to remake her 'Monster Mouth' makeup!

The first step was to apply primer, concealer, foundation, powder and blush.

Next I filled in my eyebrows, applied a peach tone eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and some fake lashes.

I then mosturised the lips, applied concealer, apply nude lipstick and set it with powder.

 The last step was of course to draw on the monster mouth! First of all I drew on the outline of the mouth with a white eye pencil. I then drew on the mouth using a lipstick brush and lipstick. For the monster teeth I used the white pencil and set it with white eyeshadow. The last step was to outline the mouth and teeth using liquid and pencil liner. I prefer using a pencil when drawing on the mouth as it it much easier to draw with precisely. It's just like a colouring book except on your lips!

Since Kyary has bangs I put on some fake bangs and a cute headband. The bangs aren't really my hair colour but... eh. XD

What's in my Makeup Bag?

This is quick post on what I have inside my makeup bag!

I bring my makeup bag everywhere with me for quick touch ups. The bag I'm using is the Paul Frank makeup pouch from the Beauty Bar. It's a really good handy size which makes its easy to carry inside handbags.  The products in this bag are just my basic makeup items.

Tony Moly Pure Eco Aloe Gel Review

I recently purchased the Tony Moly Aloe Gel and decided to do a review on it.

 Aloe Vera Gel is a product that I use daily and have recently run out of.  Aloe Vera is great for dry skin as it does a great job at moisturizing! It also helps soothe dry and irritated skin.I was browsing around in Tony Moly when I saw this product so I decided to purchase it and try it out.

The Aloe Gel that I am currently using is the Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel. It comes in a 250 ml squeezable bottle. The gel looks green inside the bottle but comes out as a clear gel with a fresh aloe smell. I purchased this for $8 from my local drugstore.

Don't mind the cling wrap around it ><

The Tony Moly Aloe Gel comes in a large 250 ml tube with an easy open cap. I purchased it for $12 which is pretty good as it comes with a lot of product! The Aloe gel comes out as a clear gel and it applies really smoothly. A little bit goes along way with Aloe gels so make sure not to squeeze out too much. I didn't really like the smell of the gel at first as it has a strong chemical smell but after a while the smell went away.

Overall I'm really like this product and I'm really excited to use this daily ^^

Lee Hi- It's Over inspired makeup

Lee hi- It's Over is one of my absolute favorite kpop songs of all time. Its funky pop beat along with the cute Lee Hi's sweet voice made me hooked on the song! One of my favorite things from the music video for this song is the makeup! The music video had stylish outfits and makeup that pops! So today I decided to recreate one of the looks.

The first step is to use primer, concealer, bb cream and powder using the products below:

Next I did my eyebrows, eye primer, eyeliner and my inner half waterline with the following products:

Essence Eye Pencil 01 Black fever

I then took this palette for the eyeshadow. I used the second blue down on the 6th from the left. the bottom gold, and the top gold.

For the eyelashes I used two different mascaras.

Upper eyelashes- Revlon Lash Potion
Lower lashes- Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express

 The last step was the lips. In the photoshoot Lee Hi had yellow and blue lips. For the lips I applied the bottom blue colour from the palette above. I then placed the same blue colour from the eyes on my upper lip. For the bottom lip I applied the bottom gold and set it with the top yellow eyeshadow.

Heres the final look!

The colour didn't come out as much as I hoped >< I couldn't purse my lips together or else the colour would stick so I decided to take it off and change the lips:
